Being an old git & not a techno genius, is it possible to have a Whats app interface on my PC ? I've got people I like to stay in touch with who use this a lot. It works like a charm on my phone but on the PC would be great.

There isn't a native PC veersion of WhatsApp. The only way to do it is to run a Android emulator on the PC and install WhatsApp on that. One site that provides instructions on how to is http://whatsapponpc.com
