Got to draw somthing up for someone, preferably a bitmap thing with layers like photoshop. cheers.

dunno if my old computer will handle it! something nice n simple that I can print a drawn map out of. must be something out there?

edit: gimp looks like the one. cheers bud.

GIMP for photo manipulation stuff, inkscape for vector graphics

I never got on with GIMP. personally. Paint.NET reminds me of the old Paint Shop Pro, I find it a lot more intuitive.

There might be old versions of Autosketch out there. Its very competent, bit like a basic version of AutoCAD, takes a bit of learning but is v good for site plans and maps. It has layers and will also work to scale.

Won't run in 64 bit systems though, I now have to run it in an XP virtual machine
