Don't get me wrong - I don't agree with what she decided, I just think that an individual should retain the right to deal with whoever they want based on their beliefs. The BNP has only just been made, as an organised political party, to allow people 'of a non-British descent' into the party. If it was a bunch of mates getting together for a beer they could say 'no blacks, no gingers, no girls' or whatever so what is the difference if it is someone renting out rooms in their house to holiday-makers?

I was once in a bar in Barcelona with the rest of the band. We didn't realise we were in what might be termed the "gay" quarter, but half an hour into the second round of drinks, we found ourselves accosted by late-middle-aged beefy Spanish blokes in dresses and lace mantillas with whiskers sticking out from underneath the pancacke makeup.

We made our excuses and left, except for the gay keyboard player, who we found later outside the same bar lying on his back in the street shouting "Somebody f*ck me!" at the top of his voice...

So as a black person in order to get served you simply paint your face white - I see how that's far easier than the person wearing a hood taking it down, and why being a black person is inherently far more of a potential security problem than somebody hiding their face from the cctv with a hood.

I am simply trying to illustrate that some discrimination is acceptable (see above discrimination against larger same sex groups). There is a Black Policeman's Association and various gay and lesbian groups which a straight white male would find it very hard to gain access to.

you are now confusing under represented groups clubbing together to voice shared concerns ...like say shops not serving them because of their skin colour, not getting promoted because they are "darkies" and discrimination.
They do not discriminate on skin colour in joining or gender as THAT WOULD BE ILLEGAL

Well, apart from the fact that an opportunity to attack bigotry has been missed, you are correct.

I stayed at a B&B run by a gay couple a few years back, it was one of the best B&B's I've stayed in. Not sure if that's relevant but thought I'd mention it. 🙂

Anyway, BB owners in this position should just say they've made a mistake and double booked. That's what the airlines do when they think your a gay.
