Depends how close to Loch Ken, but Kippford Holiday Park is good http://www.kippfordholidaypark.co.uk/

Another vote for Kippford.

What ever you do don't go to Southerness.

Another for Kipford. There is a great pub there by the sea, all you need is a good day at Dalbeattie or Mabie followed by a beer and a sunset. Sit outside and the world is yours....

Perfect.

Kippford or I seem to remember a spot at Beeswing. Lovely place, nice and handy for Dalbeattie and Mabie in particular.

Beeswing = 5th one down

Not clear why OP needs to be near Loch Ken?

Here is another nearby;

There are a few caravan spots up the loch, the one between Castle Douglas and Loch Ken Marina is good, by all accounts.
