...fit 13 pin trailer socket on the car?
The new wagon has a rather snug fit electrics socket, and the bike rack plug is needing some lube. One of the new rotating 13pin things. Pins on plug are slightly corroded. It's taking huge effort to rotate it once engaged.
I don't want to either short out or insulate wrongly. I would rather not faff with rewiring unless I have too.
I've got some of that stuff that I can't remember the name of. I think it came from RS?
Silicone Grease maybe?

A bit of WD should help.
If you can get some ..Ballistol Universal Oil in aerosol form ..

Vaseline has always worked fine for me on all my trailer connectors.

For plastics or rubber, it's a good idea to stick to silicon, as it's very unlikely to damage anything.
That's good advice for life TBH.
Vaseline works quite well for this
Another Vaseline user here on anything trailer/hitch related..
By the time Vaseline degrades the plastic in the connector your car will be obsolete.
