I don't particularly like the film and the ending is awful but he's superb in The Manchurian Candidate.

Never thought he was the right actor for Training Day.
Death Wish or the Hurricane.

Watched crimson tide again last night. Fantastic film, definitely one of Denz's best. He's good in The Seige too.

But that is what made it so good - IIRC up to that point he'd always been the good dependable man in the films he was in. I thought the fact that he played a gangster (a bit badly- as in hammy and OTT) added to the film not detracted from it, as it made you believe in the corrupted cop even more.

Most entertaining, definitely Crimson Tide for me. But he kinda plays the same character in every film really doesn't he

Of the two, I'd watch 'Man On Fire'.
'Fallen' is better though.

I believe that would be a film without Denzel Washington in it...

If I really had to - like, watch a DW film or be shot - it would probably be the book of Eli.

crispy tacos with cheese. who gives a fock. it's a nice film where a previously "bad man" has re-invented himself, and struggles through some sort of self revelation. i like it.
