What ipod/iphone DVD ripper is the best for hassle free conversion? I tried handbrake with limited success...

What platform are you on? I use handbrake on mac osx with minimal hassle.

xilisoft dvd ripper is good.

DVD Decrypter for ripping the video and Videora iPod converter from Red Kawa for converting to iTunes format.
Also, the suite of programmes from DVDVideoSoft is incredibly useful - converting 3GP files to other formats, extracting the audio from Flash files (from YouTube, for example) and other file conversions.
