Hi chaps,

I'm after a waterproof bag for my missus' iPhone 4, does anyone have one, or can suggest one? There's loads about, wildly varying prices, I'm sure some will be fine at £10...

Cheers

Ricks

Ortlieb or nothing - not worth messing with anything else in my experience.

Ziplock food bag. I've spent plenty over the years on various waterproof bags for sailing and now use only foodbags, simple cheap and effective.

They are also about £70.

I have one, it's great, but not really what the OP was asking for...

Aquapac. Used one with my phone to film going down the water slide at Centreparcs with no ill effects.

For riding (e.g. maybe with handlebar mount) or just for general use?

As above, to do what ?

We use food bags as per jambalaya for waterproofing phones for runs/rides

Glad to be of assistance. They are very handy, and a bargain I'd say

Even more of a bargain on the zipvit site at £2.99 or free with an order over £10.

I had a pocpac and it didn't last long, te material is pretty rigid and it ripped near the zip, there is also a small gap where the zip is

Save your money and use decent quality food bags

My ortlieb one only lasted 18 months before scuffs and scratches started letting water in. I replaced it an Overboard one and it's fine 3 years on and I use it almost daily.
