We've got a light fitting in the lounge which takes 12 G4 halogen capsules, it was working absolutely fine for a few years, but last week I replaced several of the blown bulbs (I was careful to make sure I wore gloves etc) and now it flickers (either as soon as it's switched on or after about 5 mins of being on). Has anyone got any ideas what I've done wrong and how I can fix it? Thanks
It might be a loose wire which you've disturbed when changing the bulbs. I would be inclined to take off the fitting and check the tightness of the connections.
Cheers rwamartin, I had a look and all looked OK and then realised the stupid bloody mistake I'd made and now I've re-changed all the bulbs to (10W instead of 25W) it works fine again 😳
