Hi Chaps,
I only really ever browse the internet on the laptop, a bit of photo-uploading and editing and that's it.
So I'm thinking a Chromebook might be the way forward, I don't really want to spend over £600 - so the Pixel is out.
Anyone got any suggestions?
Cheers
Ricks
TBH with that sort of cash and limited requirements the world, pixel aside, is your oyster. Dell chromebook 13 or Lenovo thinkpad 13 seem to be well thought of. That said, my daughter has an Acer 14 that was both sub £200, good looking and do s everything asked of it so far. Not really sure if it's necessary to spend more for limited needs?
I take your comment to mean that you're happy spending up to £600?
If so have a look at the new Samsung Chromebook Plus and Pro that was recently launched at CES. It looks the bee's knees, has stylus option, folds both ways keyboards so it can be a tablet, etc.
Failing that get something with an HD screen, 32gb storage, and 4gb ram.
I've got an Acer 15. It's brill.
My daughter has a 11" acer with an n2840. Its painfully slow even just web browsing. If you have the budget then definitely get something with a faster chip and 4gb ram
