[Closed] what exercise bike for a tall fat bloke

Hey everyone,

So here's my dilemma.... I used to be a right fat waster. I am now a less fat waster. I lost most of the weight (about 3 stone so far) by getting my butt out and about on my bike. The problem is that I'm very much a fair weather cyclist. Now before you all tell me to MTFU, I'm trying but i need to face the reality that its not happening at the moment.

SO......

I'm looking to get an exercise bike so that I can get the heart rate up regularly without leaving the comfort and the warmth of my apartment. Trouble is, every one that I've tried has felt far too small (I'm 6'4) or cannot cope with my mass!!! (now down to 290lbs but as I said, still a fat waster!!!)

Anyone got any recommendations/knowledge of the exercise bike market??? I can't go for a turbo trainer as I cannot keep my bike in the apartment

Thanks in advance

Trixter x-bike is the only one worth considering

Find yourself something like a Johnny G or Startrak or Schwinn spin bike on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Trixter-exercise-bike-fully-serviced-and-ready-use-/270668538330?pt=UK_SportsLeisure_ExerciseFitness_ExerciseBikes_JN&hash=item3f051a21da

£450 for an x-bike

they are absolutely the best, plus extra stable base.

They're pretty well suited for all sizes

Solid, ride really well, and you get the upperbody element to the workout

If you already have a bike that fits you, why not buy a turbo trainer?
