A fascinating work visit to a primary school today. They have 28 raptors (and more) as an learning context.
These birds are owned and cared for by pupils.
What an Erasmus trip this is turning out to be...

(I will talk through the nursery learning to ride horses shortly...)

Very cool, but what's the answer?

Also, what eagle for computer sciences?
A sea eagle

What eagle for home economics?
A desert eagle

Tsk - kids these days. We only got to dissect frogs and even then we only got one to a desk. I'd have paid so much more attention in biology if we'd had a whole eagle each to chop up.

Where is this school?

Just outside Banská Stiavnica in Slovakia.

One of the group's today was working out the speed of the Saker falcon - so you need a falcon for maths, not an eagle. My bad.

Not sure about the OP, but perhaps a Grammargeier for English Language?

Should’ve known it wasn’t in the UK. Our education system saddens me.

MOAA,

How common is this in Slovakia? Are you being shown the unique/special or the normal?

Does that mean they need Test Eagles at the end of the year?

Given just how much attention raptors need I would be going with rather unusual.

I think 'unique' would be a fair description.

An interesting one however, particularly in a country with a very fixed curriculum

Don't have an eagle in a maths class because they kill adders.

Although I think Don Henley would be OK in a music class.

At a University maybe, a bit overkill to be getting him to teach primary level.
