DS is 44 today.

I fancied something a little different in the watch department and plumped for this from our Russian friends.

I think it's a very attractive piece. What do you lot think?

EDIT: may not be to everybody's taste but more appealing than my bruised and unfeasibly large belly I foisted on you all in 2009!

Got a "Breeze" here - certainly different...

Had to ditch the poor strap and get a replacement on mine

I got mine from timeshop4you - based in Germany.

Good service.

watches are so old fashioned, most people under the grand old age of 44 use modern equipment to tell the time

Phil, a century ago, people started wearing wris****ches because of the inconvenience of dragging a watch out of a pocket, flipping a lid open, then closing it and putting it back into a pocket.
What you've got there is a whizzy fob-watch.
I'd rather continue to live in the 21st Century, not the early 20th.
Oh, and Derek, nice watch, love the retro styling.

I can't see the pic of the watch but as long as it's got an alarm I'm sure it's fine.

STW i am disappoint. all watches should have a calculator and if you're rich... the ability to change TV channels.

^This

I also recently bought myself a watch for my birthday as smartphones are now so big that taking it out of the pocket to check the time was becoming a right pita.

Happy birthday.

I shall refrain from commenting on the attractiveness of your piece, if it's all the same.
