£60 budget.

I don't really know what I want. Could go for something boring like a new helmet mount light, or???

Hobbies:
model planes, but no time for these since kids.
motorsport, ditto, plus I don't think £60 would get me far.
Camping/bivvying/bike packing.
astronomy - I have an "entry level" proper telescope. Can't think of any accesories I would need, I have a decent range of eye pieces etc.

Open to new experiences, make me a suggestion.

Something you've never tried before

How about a horse riding lesson?

Entry into an event, £60 about going rate for an enduro round.

Edit: I'm told horse riding lessons are amazeballs.

I have tried horse riding, but I'd be up for trying it again. It sounds like a very popular suggestion.

Maybe, given that the GF and her family golf, I should try that. I'm a bit worried we'd be kicked off the course for slowing everyone else down though. And my only ambition to do with golf ever has been to gap a bunker (no, I've not, yet, maybe I could suggest we use bikes instead of walking/buggies.)

Also I do fancy doing some enduros this year. That could be a good call!

What you need is some Golf on Horseback lessons - speeds things up a bit
