Just about to put these in the oven. Big mushrooms with homemade garlic butter and chili filling.
I have a choice of cheese to top with, mature cheddar, double Gloucester, Lancashire, brie, apricot Stilton and wendsleydale cranberry.
I'm thinking cheddar and brie?
cheddar with little bits of stilton dotted over. will give the stilton a less in your face (or mouth) taste

Mmmm food. Shaved Parmesan is a winner, but from the above - Stilton (sparingly)
It's white Stilton with apricot, very sweet
Did have some bousin, but that went into some chicken wrapped in parma ham last night. ๐

When out in the wilds we've used Boursin cream cheese.
Porlus knows job (although I would have gone for parmesan as well had you any)

And then a big sausage on top.
Stilton and garlic? Can't imagine that working personally.

Sorry.....any cheese as long as the mushrooms have a garlic rating of 10, ie : that is how close in ft someone can stand without being overpowered by garlic fumes
