On the back of a number of recommendations on here, I got my little brother some Sound Magic E10s, they're really nice for the money and come very highly recommended from the critics.

Slightly over budget at £35 though.

Or £4.94 over budget

I own both and they are very good for the money, with E10's being very slightly more bassy but definitely not overblown.

I'd go for another set of Sennheisers
eg these.

Bought some Fischers that had twice the rrp price and they are no better (in fact, the corded lead makes them worse)

Less than £30 - the CX200s

CX200s are good IMO, although they used to be under £20, so maybe not such good value now.

I've had a couple of CX200's in the past and always thought they were really good but then got a set of the Soundmagic E10's and much prefer them.

I did recently, however, buy some of the MEE M6's after CountZero's constant recommendations

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MEElectronics-Over-the-Ear-Sports-Fi-M6-First-gernation-Headset-Bulk-Package-/130982442462?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item1e7f2975de

Been over the ear they have been perfect for running. And the sound quality is as good as the others I've tried. In fact I use these all the time rather than the E10's these days. All for not much more than a tenner.

Got to be worth a punt at that price.

Sennheiser cx200's for me. Crystal clear and very powerful bass. Use with HTC one and beats audio listening to Uplifting Trance and Orchestral Trance.
