Fuji hs10 for me. Newer ones with the exr sensor look interesting. I went with the fuji as it was less automatic than other bridge cameras. Something i could get my teeth into. Zoom is good too. Can get some really good moon shots.

I have a canon sx1 and it's utterly brilliant for what I want. Cracking zoom, functions galore (most unused), 1080p video function. Takes AA batteries which last really well, has a flash attachment shoe, remote control.
Down side is its a little heavy but then I like the weight when focussing.
Buy the quickest memory card you can afford when you get it. The speed of the memory card will help the speed of the camera.
