Just curious, see if you have anything interesting worth watching/subscribing to. Finding I'm watching more youtube these days, so would like to improve my channel list.
Anyhow few of my favourites, in no particular order, are:
AlfieAesthetics
Bushcraft stuff, but wee dude is funny with it, knows his stuff about mycology in particular.
https://www.youtube.com/user/AlfieAesthetics/videos
Adam Neely
Different take on music, not a theory/teaching channel per se(I like rick beato's channel more for that), more wide ranging than that, but interesting all the same(though I reckon his channel's not as good as it was just 6 months ago, was more interesting. Hopefully he's got better stuff in mind for the future. His Q&A's and obscure musical knowledge are the interesting bits, well that I find anyhow.)
https://www.youtube.com/user/havic5/videos
Slow mo guys,
Ronseal, does what it says on the tin, stuff in slo mo! ๐
https://www.youtube.com/user/theslowmoguys/videos
Vsauce
General science interest on a wide range of topics
https://www.youtube.com/user/Vsauce/videos
Renegade Scot
kinda hiking/scottish mountains/photography/wild camping channel, decent enough.
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPiB36d_clOVYEVan-p0Fgg/videos
Scotlands Mountains
Good for drone footage of the hills. Hiking /climing/camping channel
https://www.youtube.com/user/wilkiemurray/videos
So anyhow, what you got? What are your favourite youtube channels? What am i missing that's good?
Adam Neely
Hey, thanks for that. Just watching a few of his vids, good stuff!
Here's a couple from me:
Synth Mania
Great for vintage synthesizers actually being used rather than obsessed over, presented by a really cool Italian dude.
Eric The Car Guy
Well produced car-maintenance how-to videos presented by a Eric; likeable, straight talking and knowledgeable.
A few recent favourites:
Matt Cremona's bandsawmill build:
He usually does woodwork, but wanted a sawmill. This enormous machine was also his learning to weld project; he got the bed perfectly straight and level. The bastard! ๐
Matthias Wandel is great at showing his process:
https://www.youtube.com/user/Matthiaswandel
Cody's Lab is one I didn't watch for years, but he's incredibly smart and I got into it recently:
https://www.youtube.com/user/theCodyReeder
Smarter Every Day also does slomo, but with interesting stuff explained. Such as this engine:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xflY5uS-nnw
Edit: a couple more.
This Old Tony, explains and shows a lot of metalwork in enough depth for any hobbyist, also pretty funny:
https://www.youtube.com/user/featony/videos
Frank Howarth, woodwork mainly, really good at showing and talking about his design process:
https://www.youtube.com/user/urbanTrash/videos
Bad Obsession Motorsport
The fabrication work in Project Binky is fantastic
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHvBHWBzzB7NyU5tIiEZHBg
Colin Furze for crazy shenanigans.
If you like Vsauce and Smarter Every Day, you might like Veritasium.
I also like Tested (the less Cosplay videos, anyway) and want a studio like Casey Niestat (and his bank balance).
GCN

Colin Furze
Jimmy Diresta
This guy cos firstly he's my best couz but secondly I used to paint models/wargame with him until I was about 16. I gave up, he carried on.
He's very good and gets commissioned to paint for other gamers.

Kombi Life - travel series
SV Seeker - Huge origami steel boat build...epic
Gone with the Wynns - Travel series, was American RV, now Catamaran Sailboat and all the learning that goes with it. (disgustingly perfect couple)
Ave - Man in shed that seems to know everything from Lathes to transducers to molybdenum disulfide grease. Master of disassembly and wordplay.
Dylan Winter 'Keep Turning Left' Bloke sailing round the UK in a small boat, doing a terrific travelogue as he goes. The guy's a professional broadcaster ex BBC so your getting serious quality output in every sense.
John Austin Tinny from Minibull designs. Making light meths stoves and cook sets from Beers cans on a commercial basis.
Paul Kirtley - Bushcraft stuff.
Primitive Technology
Not very frequent updates, but every single video is pure gold.
Pretty much all guitar/music stuff for me...
Riffs, Beards & Gear - Gear reviews, recording tips and so on. Think Fluff is my favourite guitar guy on YouTube.
Rob Scallon - Very talented, entertaining guy. Good mix of quality music and humour.
That Pedal Show - Makes me want to spend so much money on expensive guitar gear.
Ola Englund - Another entertaining guy. Does a lot of gear review videos and other funny stuff.
Casey Neistat...
At the moment? Ryan Knapton, wish I could carve like him.

HISHE - if you like movies
Grade A under A always makes me laugh.
Another vote for bad obsession motorsport.
Be warned, you will binge watch the whole series and be sad when you realise the next one is months away.
good stuff, this turned out well, keep them coming! ๐
I find I never get around to looking at most of the suggestions on these threads, so stuck a playlist together from this thread. Its not finished but its there for anyone like me who just wants to skip through and hit the skip or subscribe button... I just spent 15 seconds or so on each channel and picked a popular or recent video.
You should be able to add your own videos...but please, just one per Youtube channel.
Cant believe no durianrider fans
I refuse to divulge this information, I would hate for you all to know what I am really like ๐

Thanks for the tip. What a gem. Am now utterly addicted.

Me too! Watched about ten of his vids last night. The Makita coffee maker one is good ๐
Also, whoever recommended 'Primitive Technology'... awesome!
I really should like AVE it's everything i like, just cant get past the stupid word garbage that he keeps spouting.
Now go whatch click spring videos, the man must just spend days polishing metal to mirror finish.
Seem to watch a fair amount of computer build vids but have no interest in a "gaming rig". All i see is

I am watching him taking apart a USB charger, simply because I appear to be hypnotised by his voice.
I been watching all the videos from Noriyaro recently. I'm finding the views and glimpses of japanise culture (and humor) facinating.
Kind of the same reason i like roadkill as it shows a side of america not normally presented in uk media.
if you like tanks, watching a 6foot6 bloke struggle in and out of them

Couple of bikey ones.
Ali Clarkson. Humble and talented trials rider with most videos filmed on the streets of Glasgow. An antidote to Red Bull.

Cycling Maven. A bit like a nicer version of Durianrider. He's just quit his job to blog full time.
