Underworld, Public Service Broadcasting, and Jean Michel Jarre at Bluedot Festival for the bargain day ticket price of £35 and then Northern Grip a mile down from the road me in Ramsbottom. All with great weather
Except I missed it all and have been inside a red hot factory all day due to it being our annual works shutdown/holiday which means I have to work 3 full weekends unpaid.
I'm majorly pissed off.
Please rub it in my saying how good both events have been.
Northern Grip was fantastic yesterday. Brilliantly organised, and just had a fantastic atmosphere. Lots of happy, smiling people on bikes, in the sunshine.
Check out the footage of Mr Wilsons Second Liners on their Facebook page! Absolutely brilliant!
Everyone is off for a big ride over Cragg and Lee shortly, after a big breakfast at the Eagle and Child 🙂
Edit; it's just started raining. If that makes you feel a bit better? It wouldn't ne a weekend in Rammy without it really! 😆
It was mint. The East Pointers who played on Saturday morning were awesome 😀 That Bunny Hop beer is ferocious 😆
I spent the morning cleaning rust from the inside of a 3500litre pressure vessel. Unpaid.
Still better than eating bacon butties at the Eagle&Child and slogging over the moors. That would have been a rubbish way to spend a Sunday....
Jodrell looks rubbish lit up in Eno's installation, glad I missed it.....
and Mrs Wilsons Seconds Liners - there is no way I would have been dad dancing to them at all....

Northern Grip was great. The riding was great, some lovely singletrack, the sun shone, unexpected bonus was the sausage rolls at the Peel Tower 😆
Nice to finish the day off having a few pints of Bunnyhop having a good socialise with the Wilsons playing.
We camped at the Paddock & we'll be back next year, can someone book the sunshine again?!
I enjoyed the northern grip hugely
Busta you should have come over I'm or was in the black t4 on the edge of the field
Did any of you see Musaic play today? A friend's folk band, some of them based around Todmorden too.
Northern Grip was fatastic - one of the funniest and most random bike events i've ever been to
Mr Wilsons Second Liners were incredible 🙂
