My 11 year old sung it in the kitchen yesterday

You're still in - it's only the original version that counts, so cover versions, buskers and 11 year old singers are fine.

Everyone at the pub-quiz tonight was out in the music round. Theme was Christmas and there were George and Andrew doing their thing.

Of all the places least likely to get hit: Radio 4, PM program immediately before the reading of the five o'clock news!

Letter to Feedback going out in disgust!

Also out, busy working away in the workshop  knowing the radio was on but not paying attention. The song was half way through before I realised what was playing

Complaint filed. I expect an On-air apology tomorrow. And a small feature on Whamageddon perhaps.

Complaint filed.

So have I. I would gladly sell my house and all its contents to pay the BBC licence fee, but this is disgraceful.

Phew, first page clarification that covers don’t count is excellent news. I’m still in!

it’s only the original version that counts

If this is true, then my disappointment with Absolute Radio's cover they played, is rescinded

Just walked into the kitchen - radio tuned to R4 (PM)and IT was playing!  Fortunately it was Taylor Swift so I survived.

Argh, Of all the places. In the background on the German TV my wife had running. A short peice about non-traditional Xmas music in Germany. They played a montage of songs which included 1single line from Last Christmas 🙂

So I'm out !

Worst year on record for me, out today! We did a quiz at work in our small team and we were in the music round when I started to think 'actually one of these better not be Wham' and the last question came up and I stuck my fingers in my ears shouting at the webcam 'this better not ****ing be wham, is it wham?!' but everybody was too busy laughing at me to clearly answer either way and I was in 2nd place so had to remove my fingers from my ears to tap out the answer at which point I recognised it as being wham as it continued to play. I then ranted for the next 5 minutes about how they'd just sodding wham'd me!

Radio 2 did me this morning. They did warn people beforehand but I bet it's got a lot of people who just turned it on part way through.

Phew. Survived a ukulele version at last night's school concert.

I only play Whamageddon (Free Solo) version.

Any variant or rehash takes you out of the game.

.... I was out days ago.

Our Christmas has officially begun as my wife has started baking. What better to help us get into the spirit than some music?

"Alexa, play Christmas music...."

First bloody track! Amazon must be pissing themselves laughing.

Given the fuss they made about Northampton Town, how many thousands were taken out at your game?

Out for the Christmas meal at work on Thursday.

Jesting complaint to the manager who did say they had more than a few complaints over the week... 😂

Given that there's around 52k at the game, I think that can be described as a nuclear strike

I'm feeling quite pleased with myself. I've never made it past day 3 before, but I've been off with covid for a week and have been listening to nothing but Bach, The Pet Shop Boys, and some of those essential mixes posted last week.
It's now getting quite close to Xmas, so I'm beginning to think I might do it.

... unless one of you sneakily mixes it into one of those essential mixes somehow.

Probably helps I've been off work for three weeks with a bad back so haven't had the van radio on!
