Saw on sky sports this morning that there were tickets still available for all pricing levels. I think the football bubble has definitely burst!!
It's an early qualifier against a country that people have little interest in. There's always empty seats at these matches.
I would imagine most are staying away to avoid that ****ing band.

After the UK’s success in the sporting extravaganza that was the Olympics / Paralympics, (not to mention Wiggins and Murray) it’s very hard to get to enthused about perennial underachievers. How many more years of footballing mediocrity will we have to endure before finally accepting that our expectations are entirely incommensurate with the English national teams ability to deliver?
Its an England team with the likes of Danny Welbeck in it being managed by Roy Hodgson playing Ukraine. Figure it out...

They've been bloody awful for years but the press make them think they're better than they actually are.
I constantly hear about the premiership being the best league in the world and players want to come and play here for that reason.
NO, it's just got the highest wages in the world for mediocre football. If you had the choice of playing football in somewhere like Nigeria or England and earning ridiculous amounts of money, which would you take?

Must admit I'm a fan, but for some reason I went into one last night. Defoes goal disallowed okay that goes with the territory, but the reaction from the player that Defoe touched. Rolling around on the floor clutching your face. ++++ me does having mascara smudged hurt that much?
