Sorted out years of 'bursting at the seams' file folder type things, and put the contents into neato suspended files in a couple of those 'really useful box' A4 file boxes....

Tape the box shut. If you've not had to go inside by Christmas, recycle the contents.

Doesn't work so well for receipts and data you need to keep for at least 5 years, does it.....!!

What did you do with the waste documents? I've got lots, but mass shredding kills my shredder, so looking for other ways to deal with it.
Mass shredding killed mine too!!!
Turns out the 'overheat' kill switch kicked in - its back running again once it cooled down.
(had to empty to bin about 6 times over though!)
