i may well watch the godfather films that are shown on film 4 this weekend. i haven't yet due to not having much interest in the mafia (have never seen scarface either).

watching serpico this evening has made me think about seeing them now (serpico was good). as i haven't really watched much al pachino/robert de niro films tbh (i know robert isn't in serpico).

anyone else never watched a well known film yet?

I have never seen Avatar or the Harry potter films.

Watch Godfather 1&2, some of the best films ever made (opinions may differ).

The Lion King seems to be the one that freaks people my age out when I mention it. Haven't seen any of the Toy Stories either.

Watched about 10 mins of one lord of the rings and fell asleep, not watched any others

Not watched any Harry potters (again kids films?)

Only seen the odd bits of the God Father films

I have Casablanca recorded for months, waiting to be watched. Watched the Shining for first time last weekend. For a 46yo filmy type, not having seem the Shining to now is a bit of a shocker

Titanic's quite good at some stuff- guided tour of the Titanic mainly 😆 The story does nothing much but the first half of the film is "ooh, shiny boat" and the second half is "shiny boat getting destroyed" and both are pretty interesting. There is a brief interlude of bosoms also.
