[#10842623]

by a comedian, whose work I have been laughing at since I was a teenager, to ask if he could interview me in the new year.

He's a regular on the various radio and tv panel shows, and he's doing a radio show for which he thinks I might have something relevant to say.

And people ask me why I left Canada to live in the UK... 🙂

Piers may be a joke, but he’s definitely not funny!

I’m going with Emo Philips.

Is he still alive? I haven’t heard anything of him for years! I used to love his surreal brand of humour, there was a Radio One comedy slot on early Saturday afternoons which he was on, along with the likes of Steven Wright, who’s deadpan delivery I liked a lot as well.

..and the point of this post is...?
A comedian ( who shall remain nameless) has made contact with you to go on a radio show ( which may or may not happen )..
Well that's really made my day knowing that ...( yawn) ..

Even though you're not telling, we'll keep guessing.

Sandy Toksvig?

On a complete tangent, If I ever met Sandi Toksvig, i'd be unable to resist the temptation to call her Ethel and ask her to make me a sandwich.

@136stu Timmy Mallet is active on Strava. Worth a follow if that is your thing. He seems like one of the nicest people on the planet.

I wrote it like that, but didn't think anyone would get it 😀

Is it Timmy Mallett?

He did say "comedian", not "children's entertainer"...
