Drinking at 8am does not mean that you have a problem, no matter what people may say!

Nothing for me this week as I am saving myself for Stourbridge Beer Festival on Friday (and possibly Saturday if I play my cards right!).

Saying that, I might pop into the pub for a pint of this tonight though:

A beautiful dark brown brew with a foaming head.

Happy Donkey's beautiful Italian Espresso blend.

I,ve been drinking a weird concoction for the last 5 weeks, green/peppermint tea with goji berries, brewed at the same time as the tea then honey when it cools and add some red wine.

I now only drink about 1 bottle of red wine a day, so all good!

187ml bottle not a full one!

Houns, early as I can! It gets very busy from about 8pm so I get there eariler to avoid the queues. Saturday is much quieter but there is generally less beer left. Free entry on Saturday after 5pm as well.

The old purple tin,
The old purple tin,
Sweet testament Lord,
To the state that I'm in,
I've drunk it all day,
And I've drunk it all night,
The old purple tin,
Oh Lord, lights up my life

Last week I made Strawberry & Cream Vodka
The weekend I made Murray Mint Vodka
Yesterday I made Rhubarb & Custard Vodka

Oh, with the left over Vodka I poured it into a jar of Strawberry flavoured Rock.

Somehow I'm a bottle down, just from taste testing..

Riding home from the Swan in Enford one night, I think I may have swerved. I woke up in the ditch at about 0900 the next morning.... ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Good work!

The reason I ask is I have two levels of drunk, very and extremely. Now while very drunk I seem to be ok riding home, on the cycletrack may I add!!!!!

But the other day I was extremely drunk and I ended up getting on the wrong side of a bin in a park!

Worst crash I have had to date!

Mrs BigJohn and I always ride our pub bikes into town, and back.

We have now become quite good at falling off gracefully, in a relaxed fashion, but because I ride fixed there was once a pedal interlocking moment that had a muddy ending.

I also remember a nasty incident when I had my guitar slung over my shoulder, wearing flipflops with clips'n'straps (not a good combo) and when out of the saddle over that really steep railway bridge by the pub the strap slipped down, trapping my arms. No real damage but a bit of a scare.

My normal pub tipple is Mine Beer from Blindman's brewery, which is a farm near Frome. They've brought out this special: Buzz Light Beer
