Walk the mutts for an hour or 2 most days and my old Timberland boots are now lacking any real waterproofing. Haven't bought boots for ages so what are recommendations - don't need to be mountaineering-proof, just for woodland walks. Happy to spend a bit if they're guaranteed for a decent amount of time.

Cheers

Mrs uses Grisport boots for dog-walking, has been through one and a half pairs on ten years. Lightweight, goretex, vibram soles, 'like slippers'. Very impressive. About 65 squids iirc si deffo not overkill for dog walking but they do punch way above their weight for the price. I would buy the mens/unisex equivalent if was in the market with similar requiremts.

*Edit. Grisport Peaklander unisex. Spotex membrane. Check reviews on that big shopping website. Better still try some if you can.
