I bought some waterproof spray to treat a jacket but mistakenly bought spray for shoes. It is for leather and fabric shoes so will it be ok on my jacket?

Nah, get the proper fabric stuff.
Have you tried a quick run over the jacket with a medium/cool iron? Thats often a good way of restoring the water repelancy. Never found that the sprays lasted long enough to make up for the faff of applying them!

It's a Fjallraven jacket with the g1000 fabric. Don't really want to put wax on it.
