Help! My poor son wants to watch some of the matches, but can’t figure out where. Who’s covering the tournament? How can one watch?

I’m embarrassed to ask, but no. I don’t watch football, and for cycling I use GCN+ or (in the olden days) Eurosport. On the rare occasion that we catch a rugby match, it is easy to find on ITV Hub or BBC Sport.
Oh, forget it. After all this, he’s just run into say he found Germany v France on ITV.

Yup, all over BBC and ITV. Though in fairness to your son given its not on YouTube, tiktok or Instagram, it's understandable that he might struggle to find it 😜
BBC and ITV, and the respective catch up services. ITV are rubbish though so the matches aren't uploaded for many hours. There is still a delay for BBC but it's not as bad.
