[#2716761]

For our 10th wedding anniversary (4 years ago) I got Mrs SB a nice little Tag watch which she likes a lot. It has had the battery replaced by a place in Chester about 18 months ago but after 12 months it started losing time. I thought that the battery was borked as the second hand was jumping which is the sign for a new battery, but she took it back and they tested it and said the battery was fine and that it needed servicing..... £200 😯
So - anybody recommend someone who can service a watch that doesn't cost the earth?
I shall be buying her a Baby-G for her birthday next month!

I don't know about Tag but you can take it to a nornmal watch repairer and get it done for about £40. I'm getting a 1960s watch done for same price.

£200 to service a watch with a quartz movement?

Tell them to shove it up their arse and **** off while they're doing it.

Ask over on TZUK, plenty of knowledge on this sort of thing and there are quite a few on there who could do it for you.
