Hi All
We have a week off at the end of february and are looking for some good trails to ride. Can be guided or self guided. Main criteria
Warm 20ish degrees
4 - 5 hour flight max
preferably more down than up but all mountain rather than DH bike territory
We have enjoyed Tenerife for the last 2 years but are looking for alternative for some variety this time

http://www.lokolokomadeira.com/en/mountain-biking - did a couple of day's guided riding with Sergio from Lokoloko last summer (although I believe the climate stays pretty consistent year-round) and it was brilliant.
Southern Spain, Andalucia, Sierra Nevada (the warmer parts) etc.
Did Trans Andaluz with Saddle Skedaddle which I really enjoyed, though that's a lot of up pedalling as well as the downs (point to point riding). Amazing scenery. Not the cheapest, but great hotels and food. The area is perhaps best spring and autumn for temperature. They do uplift stuff too and self-guided. Plenty other companies doing stuff around there or Sierra of course.
