Here's the song used in the closing sequence of the last few episodes. Lovely song but sad as it reflects his journey into the depths of dementia.

Did bring a limp to the throat especially with the theme song at the end!

Good shout, I rather like Ane Brun.

Holds up hand.

Jeez, it was sad last night. Such a cruel condition.

On a lighter note, it's kinda interesting now being on the 3rd version of Wallander.

Last one tonight with current Wallander.

Next year Wallander will return on BBC with Kenneth Branagh. ๐Ÿ™‚

Who were the others? I only know 1 other actor who played the character, unless you meant Kenneth Branagh?

Rolf Lassgard - I actually preferred him to the current one.

I prefer the current one. Although the strength of the story may help more opportunity for the actor.
KB was absolute pants!

Ah, thanks for that.
This is the person I was expecting to see when I tuned in, so was slightly confused to see someone else, and did ponder if my mind had started playing tricks on me.

I remembered Rolf Lassgard, preferred him actually.
My dad & I both watched previous series, only found out by accident that we both liked it.
Rolf Lassgard is in a film "false trail", pretty good - kept my ol' dad glued to the screen for a couple of hours unlike his usual viewing habits.
Found episode from a fortnight ago hard to watch together at times, as my mum has the disease & lives in a care home & he visits every day...
