My mk7 golf GTD is currently at the local VW garage with an intermittent eml, and they have diagnosed it as the oil pressure switch. However, they told me that I will need to pay for diagnostics, and replacement of a 'one time use' plastic cover, even though the pressure switch is covered by warranty. Is this normal, or correct? Part of the reason I bought approved used is to get the peace of mind for a pain free solution to any problems but I'm not impressed now!
