[Closed] Vista users - anyone else have MS updates today?

The usual MS update window popped up - I had a quick look and it was mostly updates for MS Security Essentials (24 of them!) and the option to bolt on IE 9. I just gave the go ahead for the whole lot and my laptop rolled over and died.

Plenty space left on the HD (more than half anyway). Eventually, after lots of farting about, managed to run system restore in safe mode and rolled it back to the previous browser. Seems to be business as usual again, but every time I try to update MSE, the whole thing goes tits up again. Bah!

Anyone else having such problems?
