[Closed] Velux windows...do they drive you mad in the rain, or do you get used to it?

As above really. This I'd expect, would be the biggest problem with them? Are there any alternatives? They'd be in a pitched roof so a lantern wouldn't work. Any other downsides to them?

The blackout blinds are also great at killing sound.

Got 2 large ones (ooer) in my loft conversion. You'll always hear the rain, but I personally love it. Only the wildest nights now wake me up.

Love it, it's like being in a tent. Well, sort of.

Love listening to the rain on the window, wonderful sound. Unless you have a ride/run planned in the near future, in which case it's a sound that you will learn to hate.

You'll soon get used to it and sleep through it. The sound of rain on the Velux makes you feel more cosy in bed!
