Watched this last night and loved it. It tells the history of the counter culture surrounding the climbers in Yosemite, from the fifties to the present day. A fascinating collection of oddballs and outlaws alongside some climbing footage that had me breaking out in a sweat on the sofa.

Yep, history of Yosemite climbing done in a Dogtown and Z-Boys/Riding Giants stylee, what's not to like?

I had a feeling before posting that it may be old news on this forum but thought I'd put it out there (must check out Dogtown).

It's great isn't it. The guy doing free climbing and taking acid was a real character. Dogtown is very good too.

Good film incredibly spectacular climbing shots. I preferred the section about the "Stone Monkeys" a bit more than the 60s section. Dogtown parallels are obvious but the films are really quite different. Valley Uprising deals with a lot more people over a much longer time.
