Living room faces south and sofa/wood floor is fading - anyone fitted this? google seems to bring up a load of operators who will fit for a large fee! Any DIY methods?

replace your window with one of the newer, better UV filtering panes?

yes, as one side of the double glazing as lost its seal i should investigate that. only did the other one last year.

Probably cheaper and nicer to look through than most of the UV films out there TBH, but seems counter intuitive!
