looking at trials bikes again, early 2000s sort of age around £1000 price range, and coming from the days of bultaco and armstrong (a 240 twin was my last trials bike) i'm a bit lost.
so, from sherco, gas gas, beta etc whats worth looking at and what should be avoided?

Check Trials Central out, I like Betas but they have their problems, Scorpa were good,
Try find a TY mono great bikes and will be plenty good enough for the wobbler sections.

You want a Beta rev3 250 (not 270) or a montesa 315 or a Yamaha engined scorpa SY250. All of these should be within your budget if you look around.

£1000 should get you a Montesa 315 with the [rainbow] uprated forks. Fairly bulletproof.
