Are people fooled by "Up to 50% off" sales?
New twist is they now say "Up to 50% off ALL ..."
Meaningless... 👿

Yep, don't know why they bother to use these headlines, as surely anyone can see that they're meaningless.
I'd be more inclined to respond to "At least nn% off everything"

"Sale" and the actual sale price are the only bits I bother about. whatever %age it is irrelevant (See Sportsdirect)

I hate buses that state:
"up to every 10 minutes"

or dandruff shampoos that are 'up to 100% effective' - irks me when i hear it. and there are folk who believe like it was Gospel.
