Been sorting the loft and finding my old photos.
The owner of this bike wanted some touch up paint for his bike. On his way over to us he got knocked off. We had to send the pick up out to recover his bike for repair.
That night the lady who lived opposite finally snapped after listening to the works Ducati being tuned up all day. Obviously setting the garage on fire was better than complaining to the council. When we took the garage over it had previously been a lawn mower shop ,so she had a point!
It ended happily as BMW got a new bike out of it. The lady got a suspended sentence.

Also a Le Mans that never even made it out of the crate with a GpZ1100.
Done in the heat of the moment? :')
I'll get my coat.....
Perhaps she got a bit hot under the collar?
Twin shock GPz - I used to have a B1, with the very rudimentary fuel injection. It was done up like a Lawson rep z1100. Fast but heavy as... I sold it 20 years ago for £500 - doh!!
timbog,
I had one of those! did mine up similar then put it into a Harris frame with big bore kit, gas flowed head and Mikuni smoothbore carbs-went like Joe F******! Had about £6000 in it all together and got £750 trade in on a 1987 GSXR 1100 with 700 miles on it. By far a better bike. The changes between a 1981 sports bike and a 1987 were massive.
