I need to send a bike by post / courier to Manchester from the south coast. I have boxed it up in a cardboard bike box.

Any suggestions on which company to use from those who have done this before?

I wouldn't use a cycle courier though. He'll take weeks with that strapped to his back.

I've just booked two today from bikedelivery.co.uk
Sold one, Borders to Kent, bought one to leave at my parent's, Aberdeen to Lincolnshire.
Will let you know next week if they are any good!
£75 for both, one insured for £1k, the other not covered.

Definitely Paisley Freight - great service - they're basically an agent so your parcel will actually be collected by one of the main carriers like DHL....good prices and I've never had any trouble....

Paisley Freight, Used them lots of times, even to NI and was very quick delivery.

Just make sure the dimensions of the box are within requirements and make sure damage wont occur whilst in transit (rubbing etc), I use tie wraps to secure wheels/bars nice and tight with packing in between.

As above, Paisley Freight, never had an issue. They also trade under bikedelivery.co.uk.

Was TNT who turned up with last two orders.
