Hey,

We've just moved into our new home, and have a couple of underfloor heating controllers.

One of them is a bit old, and the screen is dim and hell of a confusing.

I'm keen to replace it, does anyone have or know what this brand is?

Lol.

Normally this is something I would not stand for. But after 3 days of 12 hour shifts of unpacking, building, and moving stuff I was too tired to flip it!

Electric UFH?
Just swap it for a £30 job from Amazon.
Should be just 240v supply and two wires for the load and 2 for the probe.
£30 gets you one with WiFi that you can control with you phone.

OP, it looks like a Magnum E controller. Magnum heating

We've got one in our kitchen. it worked for about 4 or 5 years then the display started to go a bit iffy (flickering), hasn't worked for years and we haven't got round to replacing it. TBH I keep meaning to get the manual thermostat head unit instead and see if the heated floor still works...

Thx Sharkbait.

I've been wondering about that for one of ours. It's an old warmup controller that does my head in every time I want to change the settings.

So is that a general rule, that it's easy to swap?

Replaced the UFH controller earlier this year. Easy. Just 2 wires. I replaced with a Nest E learning stat as It learns how quickly it takes to heat up and slow down so will take that into account automatically. Been working fine since I installed it. However a simple on/off thermostat is dirt cheap (the one I removed was a simple on off stat) and even stats with built in programmers are still pretty cheap.
