We will be in touch
In one of the commercial spaces we manage there is an 8 zone heatmiser wet UFH system, its about 10 years old and some of the wireless room controller/prgammers have died.
Heatmiser do not make those controllers any more and their new system uses a different frequency so we are borked. They recommended replacing the receiver and all the controllers which is comes to about £1500. I've hunted ebay and everywhere for the controllers but nothing for 8 weeks.
This had me wondering - does anyone make a universal programmer whcih you can change frequency etc to talk to other systems or am I tripping?
Probably not because it's not just the frequency that important but the data sent. I can call get on the right frequency and contact someone on SW radio in France but the conversation will not go very well. Unless we agree to use a common language / standard.
yeah I was thinking this.
OK emergency over. Heatmiser called me back after I tried to solve this again today. They can reprogram the new thermostats to work on the old system.
