Bravo to anyone camping. Having never been north of Watford, very surprised by the dense clouds of huge bloodsucking midges. Local said this is nothing, wait till August. Thousands upon thousands of the blighters airborne.

Unusual and only rarely a problem - unlike the Highlands.
