One of our TVs has a feed via distribution box/coax from the rf2 output on a sky box in another room. We have just changed this TV to one with a freeview tuner built in which I'd like to use as well as the sky feed.
If I split the aerial signal in the loft can I send this signal as well as the analogue sky signal down the same coax cable?

If you send the aerial feed to the sky box it will do that for you.

Doesn't the sky box just convert the digital signal to analogue before chucking it out of the FR2 port?

the rf2 output on a sky box is a pass through from the rf input with a modulated analogue output from the sky box added (on ch68 as standard)the only time digital tv fed from the rf2 will be affected is if one of the mux's for you digital is on or very close to ch68 as the bleed over will screw up the signal.
