TV on wall, cables though to other side – Page 2 – Chat Forum

Looking to mount our current 42" TV on a wall in the bedroom and, to hide the cables, I was thinking of drilling through the single skin wall into the dressing room where we have a couple of power sockets. Obviously don't want to cut the power cable and refit the plug so wondering if there's anything that could be used to tidy up the hole? Was thinking of radiator pipe cover feet thingies but they're quite a big hole. Anyone know of anything smaller?

Why not mount the TV on the ceiling and run the cables through the loft? Nice and neat and easy to watch in bed...

For a proper job, cut a hole in the ceiling - pass the Tv through and hang it on wires attached to the rafters. Then plasterboard around the back of the TV and paint it all in so it looks nice.

The previous owners of our house knocked a fist sized hole through the wall to pass the plug for the TV through 🤦🏿‍♂️

Expanding foam and a bit of filler and it's fine now!

Cut the blue wire. DO NOT CUT THE BROWN WIRE.
