Need to have a rejig of the AV setup to accommodate the TV, centre speaker, PS4, and & freeview recorder.
I was contemplating a normal TV stand for TV/centre speaker and, maybe, a separate rack for the other stuff in the corner of the room.

Basically a square room, TV in centre of main wall, surrounds in each corner..

How do you store your TV stuff?

Wall-mount the TV rather than a stand? Sounds like the ideal environment for that.

I have a similar problem, I want to get a 55” TV and put it on a stand (don’t like wall mount and it wouldn’t suit room) but all stands look modern OR don’t have a space for a centre speaker.

I’m actually thinking of buying a table saw and making my own TV stand because of the dead end I’m in.

They are ok but the ones I’ve seen won’t fit a decent sized centre speaker.

Wall mounting FTW..... unless you are renting, or you have an enormous center speaker.

I’m actually thinking of buying a table saw

Don't. I have a table saw and have just bought a track saw - it's much better.

I already have a circular saw I can set up as a track saw, a table saw is much more appropriate for what I want to do.

We did the same thing a few months ago and ended up with an Ikea Besta unit.

Houses all the kit, including quite a large centre speaker and AV amp (pretty much like the first post in the link below)

Our TV is on the wall directly above it.

Got mine from Wayfair https://www.wayfair.co.uk/furniture/cat/media-storage-c235906.html
Massive choice. (But make sure to opt out of their emails, they send loads.)

We got an Ikea 'besta' unit and a one of their Uppleva mounts that goes with it. I'm just not a fan of wall mounted TV's, they always look too high.

I also bought an adaptor from amazon to get our sound bar mounted under the TV, but so that it's suspended with it and articulates with the TV

I Have an AVF stand - they do several styles but they also can accomodate a TV stand at the back so you can have the TV float above the stand without wall mounting it.

Here's mine - it has my pre and power amps in. If I put the TV on the highest mounting I could probably have a centre speaker on the top level :
