Why do some people make trumpety sounds? Is it to do with the shape of the nasal cavity or the severity of the blow, or is it purely a technique thing?

I'm lying in bed and can hear sporadic trumpeting from a neighbor. Mine are quite quiet generally as a rule.

I have that affliction, it's rather annoying from time to time.

There must be something biological going on. One side of mine trumpets far more readily than the other.

I've always been a little envious tbh.

My other end is joyfully tuneful, it'd be great to get them singing in harmony.
