I have had a new-to-me motorcycle this week. Its all very nice, but on the tank there is a tiny chip in the paintbthat has gone down to the bare steel. The paint looks really thin, and i assume its been done by a belt buckle. The tank is matt black and its hard to see, but its obviously corroding. How do i prevent it getting worse with a simple cheap treatment? I dont want to remove tank and rub it all down and respray.

You need a Flash Gordon-esque ray gun.
