I'm going to read that as you did lots of skipping at the gym this morning and then we can still be friends... ok?
nope, i woke up and decided to get back into bed and play on the iPod instead of going to the gym, i'm eating chocolate 'Jazzies'.
i did however spin yesterday morning with quick set of weights before hand, then ride last night.
instead of no gym over the weekend i'm going to head to the gym tomorrow and do more weights than i'd normally be able to fit in before work to make up for it, then ride in the afternoon.
you're lucky i still count you as a friend after ditching tomorrows ride for going up north! 😈 BEARDS AND OPINIONS!

Due to the rain and how freezing it was last night, i opted out of the chaingang and did 1hr 10mins of intervals on the turbo. The intervals were at TT effort. My legs were most unhappy with me after it. 👿
Today i should get my training plan *excited and apprehensive*

The bike can be a bit moist after I've finished.
But I carry a small towel in the gym and wipe down anything I've left perspiration on.
I'm considerate like that.

I just wear a tri-suit. Dry myself off as best I can then get sweaty again.
I'm sure that some people think it a bit odd... but I don't much care. There are more serious triathletes down there than me.
Also, I did a Tabata running session last night... that's a bit special 😯

it is basically diet? working the core will only build muscles underneath the love handles 🙁 deep down i know the answer, but i'm not prepared to do the gym on the way home as well as the way to work to increase my calorie deficit, not when i could be out messing around on bicycles

The ratio of these chemicals determines who easily accessible that fat is.
Its would seem that fat in the upper and lower body consumed more easily than that stored around your middle.

i never eat before the gym in the morning, just a cup of coffee with some milk (so i can drink it quick enough to get out the door on time) and a sugar, because... well i don't know why, tastes nice innit.
Start drinking proper black filter coffee instead.
No milk, no sugar, just caffeine.
Then hit it hard.
As a wise philosopher* once said 'nothing tastes as good as skinny feels'!

You do know that your body is unlikely to access any significant quantities of body fat, while you have all that sugar whizzing around in your viens.

He ate shyte and burned it off as an unusually active 50 something.

philly, IME diet (sugar) is main cause of midrift flab - i switched from skinny lattes to espresso and ditched all choc/biscuits from my diet. Got down to 17% body fat with no other diet changes and my abs were showing. Started eating choc/biscuits again, body fat has gone up a bit and abs no longer showing as clearly. 😥 Cut out the milk and sugar in your coffee for starters.
TRX and KBs work core the best IME - my core is now far stronger than it was before i started using them and more defined too.
Solo - he did not eat shyte. Not in any way, shape or form.
Plenty of people can stay lean without going Paleo. Without iDieting and without training loads.
They probably have never over-eaten and never been dishonest with themselves about what they do eat.
If you cook from scratch and don't favour creamy sauces... 9 times out of 10 you'll be the right side of the obesity statistics. You'll probably live to a ripe old age and hopefully enjoyed life too.
