Just wondering if any of you on traditional pre-payment meters have had your electric voucher yet for October?

We're with EON who's website says we should get vouchers which have to be used a a post office, not just any paypoint venue. They will not just be added electronically when we top up.

Can't get hold of them and never get any sense from them anyway. Been trying to get onto a normal DD scheme or smart meter for months. Grrr....

Hope it works out for you. I recently had mine changed to a smart PAYG as the old key one died (but kept the leccy flowing so I got a free month!) Was doubtful the £67 would appear on my meter but it did on Thursday.

Just stuck £20 on in the hope that it would automatically add it, but no 😢

Will try chasing them up next week, but it's such a soul destroying experience.

I'm with british gas, my gas meter I just pay them after I've put my gas readings online. They always massivley overestimate it, so I only pay once I've provided a meter reading and get a correct bill.
...but my electric meter is one of those key fob things, so PAYG.
I have an online account with them, but I can't see either account having been credited with anything yet.

I owe them about £30 gas for the last 3 months, but I'm not paying them a penny until they clarify what the they are playing at.

My wife just braved the seemingly never ending hold queueof EON who said our vouchers should arrive by the end of next week.

Amazingly they've now also agreed to install a smart prepayment meter at the start of November! That will save some hassles. Still refuse to change it to a normal meter despite us having our electric by DD , until we moved to this rental, for the last 30 years with no issue.
